Project Goal

A hotel depends on a lot of technology working together behind the scenes. For the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa's Westshore area, SGD Communications was brought in to support several parts of the property's technology infrastructure, including connectivity, televisions, lighting controls, and security.

Our Solution

SGD provided a comprehensive range of services, including structured cabling, fiber optic, network rack and stack, TV cabling, automatic lighting controls, cameras, and continued maintenance.

The project brought together the infrastructure needed to support the hotel's network and connected technology. Fiber optic and structured cabling provide the foundation for connectivity, while network rack and stack services help organize the equipment supporting that network. SGD also handled TV cabling, automatic lighting controls, and camera installation to support other technology and security needs throughout the property.

SGD continues to provide maintenance for the project, helping keep the installed systems supported after the initial work was completed.

The Outcome

The result was a more connected technology environment for the hotel. By bringing several infrastructure, connectivity, lighting, entertainment, and security services together, SGD helped support the hotel's daily operations and the technology used throughout the property.
