PDK Access Control

Project Goal

Crumbl Cookie needed a better way to manage access across its restaurant locations. Before implementing a digital access control system, the business was having to rely on a locksmith whenever an employee left and access needed to be changed.

For a business with multiple locations and employee turnover, repeatedly calling a locksmith can become an unnecessary expense and an extra step for management. Crumbl needed a solution that would make managing access easier while giving the business more control over who could enter its locations.

Our Solution

SGD Communications implemented PDK access control across five Crumbl Cookie locations.

Instead of depending on a physical key and calling a locksmith every time access needed to be changed, PDK provides a technology-based way to manage access. This gives the business a more flexible way to handle employee access as staffing changes.

SGD handled the access control installation across the locations, helping create a more consistent approach to managing entry throughout the restaurants.

The Outcome

The new access control system helped make the process of managing employee access simpler and more efficient for Crumbl Cookie. When an employee leaves, the business has a technology-based way to manage their access rather than having to rely on a locksmith each time.

For a growing restaurant business, that can mean less hassle, fewer unnecessary service calls, and more control over access. The project also gives Crumbl a solution that can better adapt as employees and access needs change.
